Ottawa’s self-proclaimed ‘yuckiest three piece’, Backseat Dragon is an indie-emo outfit made up of Carrie Blair (they/them), Cole Hallman (he/they), and Sean Lundy (he/him).
With a string of sold-out shows in Ottawa and surrounding cities under their belt, the band released their freshman studio album, "Kick Rocks," in August 2023. The album received enthusiastic approval, earning them a nomination for Album of the Year 2023 by Faces Magazine, the number one spot on Bummer Records’ AOTY list, and an interview with CBC’s Alan Neal.
Following the release, the band embarked on a successful tour across Ontario, planting strong foundations in many scenes across the province.
Having played the stages of prominent Ottawa festivals such as Pique and Side By Side, Backseat Dragon continues to connect with audiences, solidifying their position as one of the province’s most promising musical acts.
