As we continue to launch into 2025, zBTFD is sooo proud to announce the addition of QUOTAS to our roster of bands.

QUOTAS are a breath of fresh post-rock air.  Their sound is saturated with epicness and crunchy earthy baselines, layered with thoughtful song-writing and soul destroying ride smashing. 

The line-up consists of members of some of Ontario's historical heavy hitters that have already left their fingerprints on Brantford and beyond.  Past members of the Sourkeys, Gaffer and Ruby Doom fuse together to generate unique sonic waves that please.​

Miss Mae is a raw, energetic three-piece band proudly hailing from the vibrant music scene of Brantford, Ontario. Made up of Marissa Monk (she/her), Judah John (he/him) and Ethan Silver (he/him), the diversely talented trio bring together driven melodies, fulfilling orchestral elements, intricate rhythm parts, full harmonies, and eccentric creativity. The garage alt-rock group has performed at countless venues and numerous festivals throughout Southern Ontario, earning them a reputation throughout the province for their electrifying live shows and unforgettable sound.

In May 2024, Miss Mae released their highly anticipated debut LP, Transit Jungle, featuring standout singles like “Sunrise,” “Beach Day” and “Anchored Chairs.” The enticing nine-track album highlights the band’s wild heart and artistic nerve, garnering high praise from music publications such as Dead Ringer and Turn & Work, as well as radio plays on CFRU Live. 

Making for a killer group with a captivating style that keeps you on your toes, Miss Mae is set to make waves in the indie DIY scene with their evolving sound in the year ahead.

zBTFD happily welcomes Ontarios most exciting band: Wiener Kebab!

Wiener Kebab are the most groundbreaking band on the scene right now. No record sounds like the last and they intend to keep the audience on their toes.

In January 2024 the boys put out “No One Makes It Out Alive” and it quite literally blew everybody’s mind with its Country/Western leanings, Mike Patton quirkiness, and the heaviest of breakdowns that’d make a hardcore kid flee the scene out of fear. Welcome home Wiener Kebab.
